America – Our Dying Sovereignty!!

Chasing after our dreams many times, probably more times than not, will wind up draining the life out of us if we aren’t chareful as to the manner of pursuit. Is our dream practical? Is it even reasonable? Can it be achieved? The factual answer to that is most definitely YES! Without being overly religious, the TRUTH is that “with God all things are possible.” I’ve spent most of my life believing in, what man might declare, things that simply aren’t possible. To that, I would simply say, SQUAT (that’s a word I thought fit here… I have no idea why:)
My personal dream correlates to life events and things, I feel, must be done. Like, for instance, my own personal transformation, maybe somewhat of a metamorphisis, into a better person, a decent individual. I used to believe that just couldn’t happen. I used to be so mean, menacing, and outright lowlife. My heart seemed to often think about good things, I wanted to see good things occur in my life, however, the road I chose just simply wouldn’t go there… to good, to right. I knew somewhere in my future I would either have an awakening or I would die. Then, one day, when I was so very deep into the outlaw world of harecore biking, it happened. I got slapped in the face with raw FACTS. I knew I was so close to the edge of insanity (by man’s standards at least), just about to take that irreversible step of no-return. But changing was possible… I just needed help, and a lot of it.
Something that had happened to me while in war, fighting for America on a foreign battlefield, was resurrected in my heart and I realized I had had a target on my back all my life. I was a marked individual. Like the photo above, I could see light apparently breaking through the hardness… Simply put, I was soon to become broken, shattered even. Oddly enough, I embraced the shattering of my soul, my heart, like a long lost prodigal would embrace his father after wallowing in the mire and filth of WRONG, even evil. Permit me to take you there in Running Down The Dream III. Look for it this month. It will probably freak you out:) (I’m smiling). Much love and, oh yeah… don’t forget “to dream.”

Have you ever thought the mythical “door” to everything you ever dreamed of is about to open only to discover that the door knob fell off of the freaking door and you’re trying to pry it open with everything in your personal arsenal of toys and pry-bars? Well, that’s how I’ve felt for the past twenty years. Having written a book (published in 1993) and an award winning screenplay and appearing on numerous television shows, news coverage up the wazoo (sp?) and people standing in line to have me sign something, I’d have thought that mythical door would have opened by now. Sometimes I examine the door with a magnifying glass looking for any ray of light coming from beneath it and so on but…NOT-A. I want to go off in a corner and curse, but since I quit cursing I do like Yosemite Sam used to do in Bugs Bunny cartoons when he got Bug’s world of crap falling all over him (I can’t help but grin just now). Something like this…rik-in-frakin..mumble, mumble, frakin… stupid bunny rabbit. Have you ever been there? Are you there now? Here’s a news flash for you… those doors never open.
The great thing I like about blogging is that I’m very free and pretty much do and say things with total liberty, so I gotta go right now and will tell you the secret of THE DOOR in the near… I promise. Comment away, even if you’re critical.. Luv,

If a simple choice was all we had to deal with wouldn't life be grand. However, the choices in life seem to become more complex. Just think, simply stick a key in what appears to be a lone key-hole awaiting that key and, presto, it’s all over. THINGS ARE FINE. Duh! That's exactly why I've been away from my POST here for so long… CHOICES! Building a web-site, writing by-laws for our new corporation, recruiting and getting to know potential Board of Directors, etc. Wow. And that's a slow day. So, hang out here and permit me to play catch-up and impress you with what I have to say about America, life, and war/warriors… the post-traumatic stress thing. Yeah, that's my life, trying to fix the broken (I too need fixing… any suggestions?) Our Warriors are returning home in many pieces, a humpty-dumpty thing I guess.

Okay, if the dude just below can't help us, what hope do we have. Seriously, someone needs to show up on the scene of history with a plan to help America find Herself. Nuff Said! We are on the edge of our most critical hour if not already fifteen minutes into that hour. So, officially, what needs to happen within this so-called "hour?"

More than anything else we need to change our major leadership and the ethical/moral influence they've imposed upon the minds of the citizenry for the past years. LAW ONE: Above anything else, if we allow our moral "principle" fiber to drop below a so-called (I call it that) divine pre-set level we're in big trouble. Not man trouble, but God trouble. And, believe me, when a nation is in God trouble, we used to say in the South, their butts in a sling. I’m not exactly sure as to what that means but it sounds tragic. God trouble can only be stopped by God, NOT MEN. If (a big if) men repent of turning our nation into a moral cesspool God may withdraw His hand of judgement, so-called, from the nation. Practical, but not likely. You see, the great deception of the human mind is that it can convince itself that it’s doing the right thing, when in fact, it’s racing in the wrong way. Only major shrinks can fix that:)

Over time the thought process becomes entrenched in a routine of thought; a microwave, give it to me now type mentality. No patience, no major work ethic, no respect for authority (civil & parental) and a huge “I don’t give a damn” attitude. BUMMER! Therefore, when an attempt to alter any “off course” frame-of-mind the majority just say screw it, we’re happy here.

Soon, and very soon, America will lose Her sovereignty if specific things fail to transpire: The list is endless but let’s just start by looking at a few of the obvious “on-the-table” issues.
First of All ~~ The historical strength of America being a separate nation built on a specific sovereign concept means everything to the citizenry of our country. The foundation, whether many like it or not, is the firm spiritual material the land is built on. Christian fiber is woven throughout every single state and governmental establishment from coast to coast. To deny that is to deny the battle of our forefathers and the core of our constitution and the grand Declaration of Independence. WE HAVE A CHRISTIAN HERITAGE. With individuals accepting that we will need to move on to the obvious truth that this great and formidable foundation is intentionally being eroded by the powers that presently govern our land. Let me share just a couple of reasons why I believe this:
(updated 7/12/11) If we fail to simply realize, as a creature, as a civilization, as intelligent individuals (most of us anyway:), that some great superior “ability,” some force completely beyond our grasp, wasn’t involved with the existence of mankind, we truly are so-called UP A CREEK WITHOUT A PADDLE. Let’s just casually assume, for the sake of my intentions within this blog, that a Supreme Being created mankind. I must, for a brief few lines, examine the flip side of that coin.
Check this out: Some super-rock exploded six zillion years ago (whatever) and all during history past we’ve evolved into a super-intelligent “rock particle” that can build machines that carry us about with A/C, music, push-button everything, not to mention sky scrappers a mile high, huge dams to withhold river, moon rockets, computer (smarter that their creators) & on-&-on I could go. Soooo…….. With this option the here-after is a crap shoot. And, the here-after is not even the point here (after) – couldn’t resist the pun:):) So, back to the we are a created species factor.

Ponder Life!

Opportunity, some say, seldom knocks twice. But seldom would mean we’ve got another shot at “it,” whatever it is. You’re in a place in life where “only” someone who has walked “in your shoes” can go. Think of that! How unique, how noble, how brave; a level of courage and commitment that only few have encounter. You served for the genuine priceless quality and virtue all on Planet Earth desire and continually strain and stretch themselves, almost to moral slavery, to achieve. Yet America has it, maybe too much of it. It’s soaked with the innocent blood of youth and the wisdom of leadership. It’s called FREEDOM!
Remember Braveheart? Remember William Wallace, the Scotsman of the thirteenth century? He rallied an entire nation against the greatest military force existing in his day, all for a concept which we’ve had since birth, FREEDOM! Will it fade from us into a future of turmoil and chaos? Wallace uttered his final word as the ax-man hurried to remove Sir William’s head. Betrayed, beaten, tortured, and stretched on a rack until his bones snapped, he bellowed with a patriot’s heart, defeating the ax-man’s blow with his final cry for – F R E E D O M!
Do you feel somewhat at a crossroads? Perhaps you’re at a place of golden opportunity. Possibly someone needs your help, maybe your destiny is to have a child who finds the cure for cancer or AIDS. You could go into politics and be honest, leading a nation with the most beautiful flag in the world. What if that “someone” needing your help is another nation on its glorious quest for freedom? What an opportunity! Maybe you’re someone’s William Wallace or America’s next Patrick Henry!
The chance to help others obtain something they’ve dreamed of most of their life is quite the challenge. Are you up to it? Certainly you are! People birthed in painful situations develop character others never acquire. It’s that never quit mentality. A challenge is not something someone dares another to do, a challenge is accomplishing what no one else can, and you are that challenge! By serving, you’ve already succeeded!
Don’t dare be an offense to others when you’ve given so much so that others could have happiness and accomplish their dreams, “with liberty and justice for all.” Dare not omit the very things you sacrificed for others to obtain; acquire them. You’ve earned every moment of your future and deserve the future’s best. You pledged allegiance unto death. “Greater love has no man than this, to lay down his very life for his friend.” Welcome to the family. Greet your sister Hope and your twin brothers, Freedom and Liberty. Hug your mother, Truth, and your father, Valor! You’ve already met Bravery and Sacrifice, your grandparents.
As you sit at the table and eat a well-deserved “hot meal” and get your second wind, listen earnestly to the words and advice of your family. Look deeply into each of their eyes and notice the engraved features on each of their faces. Grasp their hands the way only a Warrior can, and possibly whisper a prayer together. At that silent moment just before you all depart for the evening, you’ll hear them all say Thank you.
